Fluxcast
Fluxcast is a cement candle holder cast in a mold made from fabric discarded during footwear production. Integrating waste into the making process rather than the final object proposes a different approach to sustainability. Using flexible fabric as a mold gives cement an unexpectedly soft surface and fluid contour. Each piece develops subtle variations and a unique form, while the mold can be reused for repeated production.
