4321-MARKET is a “festive collaboration market” that opens during the Christmas season each year. It brings together designers and companies to create unique, limited-edition objects with a collectible and distinctive character. Founded by two alumni of ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne), Team 4321KR (Chelsea Jihong Park and Yesul Jang), the project is influenced by the values of Swiss design, with many participating designers sharing an appreciation for its simplicity, clarity, and high quality. Since its launch in 2020, 4321-MARKET has collaborated with 54 design teams and introduces a new theme every year. Through these collaborations, companies can actively support the creative design scene while exploring new possibilities for their materials through experimental and designer-led interpretations. Over time, 4321-MARKET has grown into a platform for creative exchange where designers, companies, and the public come together to share ideas, craftsmanship, and new perspectives on design.
