Paperwork
Paperwork is a desk organizer inspired by the silver-leafed surface in SongEun’s parking space. Reinterpreting the delicate silver skin covering its heavy concrete structure, the design uses lightweight recycled newspaper to bring architectural elements from SongEun onto the desk. Made from paper pulp cast in 3D-printed molds and finished with silver powder, it comes in four square-patterned designs. Paperwork organizes small items such as pens and business cards while adding a subtle shimmer to illuminate long winter nights.
Ae Office
Ae Office is a Berlin-based design studio run by Hee Choi and Myung Nyun Kim. They immerse themselves in unfamiliar environments to explore unique contexts and materials found in urban and rural settings. Starting in Seoul in 2021, moving to Jeju, and now based in Berlin, the duo explores how objects can naturally blend into their local environment. They translate local materials, stories, and expressions into furniture, home objects, and products.
