Patchwork Tray
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Switzerland, this piece combines Korea’s distinctive textile patchwork with Switzerland’s woodworking heritage. Patchwork is a wooden tray inspired by traditional Korean bojagi. Made exclusively from Swiss wood, its slats are graphically arranged to form the tray in reference to patchworks composed of textile offcuts. Switzerland is home to a wide variety of wood species, shaped in part by its mountainous landscape and the resilience produced by growth at high altitudes.
