Chubby Pot & Empty Plate

DOSISM’s first collection, Chubby Pot, focuses on the relationship with plants living in the city. It tells the witty story of a designer who imagined a plant drinking plenty of water and gaining weight, just as a companion animal living with people might. Empty Plate, which can be used with Chubby Pot, can become a plant stand or tableware depending on the object placed on it. It is a user-driven product that allows people to use it in any way they want without limiting the object’s function. Chubby Pot and Empty Plate are the result of Studio IFF’s experimental research into various CMF and manufacturing techniques. They were produced using slip casting, a method in which slip is poured into a plaster mold.
