HAP
HAP is a basket made from LightSpray™ TPU left over from On’s shoe manufacturing process. Seeking a new purpose for otherwise discarded material, the work interprets the elasticity and translucency of residual TPU in sculptural form. Its irregular texture, created by the material’s properties and heat-pressed compression, results in a practical object that brings sustainability into everyday life.
Minyeol Cho
Minyeol Cho is a Seoul-based designer who reinterprets leftover everyday materials, including textiles and metal collected around the studio, to explore layers and traces through sculptural form. Through material experimentation, Cho expands the boundaries of craft and design while practicing a sustainable approach to making.
