2024 Milan: SWISS–KOREA SOUVENIR MARKET in MILAN

Following its Seoul edition in 2023, 4321-MARKET: SWISS–KOREA SOUVENIR MARKET was presented in Milan in 2024 as part of the House of Switzerland during Milan Design Week. Originally created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Switzerland, the project brought together souvenirs designed by 20 designers from both countries. The collection explored how everyday objects can represent cultural identity, translating elements of Korean and Swiss culture into contemporary design. The Milan presentation introduced the project to an international audience, extending the exchange between the two countries beyond Korea and Switzerland and offering a new context for the collection within the global design community.
